Zombie Pet Reunion Video: Dog and Cat Prompts from Two Photos

Create a fictional zombie pet reunion using a person and a dog or cat reference. Plan natural pet movement, copy two original prompts and choose a short duration.

Published

To create a zombie pet reunion video in AI Zombie, use photo 1 for the human survivor and photo 2 for their dog or cat, then describe a single meeting. A person kneeling as a familiar pet approaches is enough to tell the story in 5–15 seconds. Keep the pet's appearance subtle and give it movements that fit the animal, such as a dog nuzzling a hand or a cat walking toward its owner.

The built-in Zombie Pet Reunion example provides a person and a golden retriever reference. You can choose it without uploading personal photos, or replace the references with a person and your own pet. New video generation requires a signed-in account and sufficient credits.

Prepare one person photo and one pet photo

Use a clear human face and a close, unobstructed pet photo showing its face, coat markings and body shape.

Use separate person and pet images. The two-photo guide explains how these references guide characters rather than define the first and last frames.

Mention one or two visible features, such as ear shape or a white chest patch. Keep them consistent with the source photo. See the photo checklist for more preparation advice.

Give a dog and a cat different actions

For a dog, an approach and nuzzle creates a readable reunion. Put the person low enough in the frame to meet the dog's head, and keep the pet nearby at the beginning. A short step or two asks for less motion than a sprint across a field and a leap into someone's arms.

For a cat, a walk toward an offered hand and a head rub can carry the same emotion. Keep the human still while the cat moves. Avoid combining a jump onto a shoulder, a transformation and a hug in one short clip. Those actions demand very different body positions.

For either pet, express the zombie treatment through cool lighting or dusty fur. Keep the face and coat markings readable so that recognition remains central to the story.

Copy an AI zombie dog reunion prompt

Create a gentle fictional pet reunion from the two references. Photo 1 is the human survivor; photo 2 is their dog. Keep the person and dog distinct, preserving the dog's visible coat markings and natural proportions. On a quiet garden path at dusk, the person kneels with one hand extended. The dog begins a few steps away, with lightly dusty fur and a subtle cinematic zombie look. It walks closer, recognizes the person and nuzzles the offered hand. The person gently rests a hand on its shoulder. End together in the same scene. No extra animals, blood, injuries, biting or dialogue.

For a five-second request, start with the dog already next to the extended hand. For a longer version, allow the short approach before contact. The generator accepts integer durations from 5 to 15 seconds; use the extra time for a calmer reaction instead of adding more locations.

Copy an AI zombie cat reunion prompt

Photo 1 is the human survivor and photo 2 is their cat. In a quiet doorway with cool evening light, the person sits still and offers one hand near the ground. The cat begins close by, with its original coat markings, natural size and a mild dusty, zombie-inspired appearance. It walks toward the hand and rubs its head against the fingers. The person recognizes it and smiles softly. Warm the light slightly while keeping the same place and subjects. A steady low medium shot, natural cat movement, no extra pets, graphic violence, captions or dialogue.

The current built-in pet example is a dog. To use this cat prompt for your cat, replace the second reference with a cat photo; changing the word “dog” alone does not replace the example animal.

Check the contact moment

Watch whether the person and pet stay distinct and whether the contact makes physical sense. If the animal becomes another species, choose a clearer reference and simplify the description. If the person picks it up awkwardly, switch to a head rub or hand nuzzle. For broader generation issues, use the troubleshooting guide.

Quick questions

Is the pet example a finished sample video?

It loads reference photos and a starting prompt for a new generation. It does not select a fixed output video. Review the prompt and generation settings before spending credits.

How many credits should I plan for?

480P uses 6 credits per second and 768P uses 10. A 10-second pet reunion uses 60 or 100 credits; a 15-second version uses 90 or 150. Current packs are $6.90 for 150, $14.90 for 450 and $39.90 for 1,500 credits, purchased once with no subscription or expiry.

Can I add a song to the reunion?

You can request atmosphere or music in the prompt, but generated audio is optional and prompt-dependent. Add a specific licensed song in an external editor or when publishing.
