For a TikTok or Instagram Reels version of an AI zombie video, plan one readable reunion in a vertical frame, generate the clip, then add your final captions and music in an external editor or the publishing app. AI Zombie defaults to 9:16, supports 5–15 seconds, and accepts one or two character references. It generates video; a longer montage or an exact music edit needs a separate editing step.
Start with recognition rather than background exposition. The AI zombie trend guide explains the story format.
Make the first view explain the situation
Put the subjects close enough to read their relationship in one shot. A long empty-street opening spends time before the encounter. Add a short premise such as “Would you still recognize them?” during editing if you want an opening title.
Keep faces and the embrace near the center, leaving room around the edges for a later crop or interface overlay. Check the actual preview inside the publishing app before posting.
Plan three beats, then choose the duration
Think in three beats: recognition, approach, contact. At five seconds, start within arm's reach and keep the movement small. At ten seconds, allow a brief approach. At fifteen seconds, give the reaction more room or add one gentle visual change.
These are instructions for your story, not exact timestamp controls. If you need a separate memory, generate it as another clip. In an external editor, cut between the encounter and the memory at a comparable hand or body position. Watch the join before adding effects; a similar direction and framing can be more useful than a dramatic transition preset.
Copy a vertical reunion prompt
Create a fictional zombie love story using the two reference subjects. Photo 1 is the human survivor and photo 2 is their loved one with subtle pale cinematic makeup. They begin close together on a quiet evening street. The survivor stops, recognizes the loved one's face and opens their arms. The loved one takes one step forward and they embrace. Keep both faces and the embrace in a clear central composition, with a steady medium shot and space around the subjects. End on the hug. Natural movement, no additional people, text, logos, blood, injuries or biting.Select 9:16 in the generator to set the frame shape; the phrase “vertical” in a prompt is not a replacement for the aspect-ratio setting. Use the two-photo creation walkthrough to prepare the references and the love story prompt guide for a memory version.
Treat sound and text as separate edit decisions
Generated audio is optional and depends on the prompt. You may ask for ambience or soft music, but a trending song is not automatically part of the output. For a specific track, choose audio you have permission to use in your editor or publishing app. Preview the mix so that an added song does not compete with unwanted sound in the generated clip.
Add captions after generation to control spelling, placement and timing. One opening line and a short closing line can frame a simple reunion without covering faces with background exposition.
Write a caption that describes this video
A useful caption pairs the premise with an honest process detail. For example: “A fictional zombie reunion made from two character photos. I kept the scene to one recognition and one hug.” If your clip uses the built-in references, say it uses example characters rather than implying that the people are your own family.
Use phrases that fit what appears on screen: AI zombie video, zombie love story or zombie hug. A pet scene can use zombie pet reunion. You do not need to put every variation into the same sentence. If you write a longer tutorial alongside the post, link to the guide that answers that exact question, such as the girlfriend and boyfriend story plan.
Check the edit before publishing
Review the clip once without sound: can you understand who recognizes whom? Then review the soundtrack, caption placement and transition together. Trim unnecessary waiting if it weakens the story. A compelling premise still needs a legible result; hashtags cannot explain an unclear face swap or a missed embrace.
Quick questions
Can I make a longer TikTok or Reels story?
Generate multiple 5–15 second scenes and combine them externally. AI Zombie does not promise an in-app timeline editor. Keep the same reference order and scene descriptions when continuity matters.
Can I start with an example?
Yes. Choose an example loads character references and a prompt without requiring your own upload. Sign in and have sufficient credits to generate the new video.
How many credits does a vertical clip use?
Aspect ratio does not change the current tariff. Duration and resolution determine it: 6 credits per second at 480P or 10 at 768P. A 15-second 768P clip uses 150 credits. One-time packs are $6.90 / 150, $14.90 / 450 and $39.90 / 1,500 credits, with no subscription or expiry.
